Hyaluronic Acid Fillers:

There are a ton of different facial fillers available these days. Hyaluronic Acid is the main ingredient in most of them. HA is a naturally occurring substance that is present in everybody’s skin. These fillers were originally injected in areas of the face that needed volume. That is still the most common use, but specific fillers are available now for lip augmentation, moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles that don’t respond to botox, and correcting some imperfections of the nose and jawline. Most fillers last about 1 year, but there is variability amongst products, with some newer fillers claiming to last 18 months or longer.

Commonly used to:

  • Improve smile lines from the nose to the mouth (the nasolabial folds)

  • Add volume to the cheeks

  • Improve moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles

  • Help improve or correct nasal asymmetries, the so-called “Liquid Rhinoplasty”

  • Add fullness to thin lips

  • Improve or correct irregularities of the jawline and help camouflage early jowls, the “Liquid Facelift”

  • Liquid browlift to subtly elevate the tail of the brow

$700-850/syringe depending on which filler is used.
